Give me 59 sec... why your startup isn't fundable

Trasncription:

Give me 59 seconds and I'll show you why your startup isn't fundable.  Everybody tells you, build something people want.  But building something people want isn't enough.  I have a client doing 500k in ARR, real customer, real money.  People love what they're building.  And the investor keeps saying no.  Meanwhile, another client, three pilots, their revenue just raised 700k.
How does that make any sense?  It makes sense because investors aren't buying your revenue,  they're buying your ability to grow. That's what makes a startup a startup, the ability to scale  fast. Otherwise, you're just a good business and VCs are interested in good businesses,  they're interested in startups.
My 500k client, every new customer takes months, new infrastructure,  bigger team, growing 10x cost him 100x.  The 3Pilot founder, once it works, it can scale to hundreds of clients without rebuilding  anything.  Before you fundraise, ask yourself one question.  If a hundred customers show up tomorrow, can I serve them?
