This was a fascinating project because the product sits at a crossroads that can either be its biggest strength or its biggest weakness: is it a bike company, an energy company, or a sustainability play? When something is genuinely novel, the temptation is to lead with how different it is. But investors don't fund different — they fund trajectory. The real work here was deciding which story to tell first, and which to let unfold. We had to anchor the narrative in a category investors already understand, then expand from there, so the vision feels inevitable rather than experimental.
