Disability benefits is not a space that immediately screams venture scale — it sits at the intersection of government bureaucracy, legal services, and healthcare, which can make investors default to "nice business, but not for us." The narrative challenge was reframing what could look like a services company into a scalable platform play, while keeping the social impact front and center without letting it become the whole pitch. Impact alone doesn't close rounds — trajectory does. We had to build a story that showed how the operational model compounds, how the regulatory complexity becomes a moat rather than a drag, and why this team is positioned to own the category before incumbents wake up to it.
